Much of the nation will be hot throughout the next 3 days, as heat alerts are issued from Colorado through Southwest Missouri, as temperatures could exceed the single digits highs, mainly in places like Texas, Oklahoma, and Nevada. Make sure to take breaks if working constantly outside throughout the next couple of days! If outside, drink plenty of fluids. Lows will be on the nicer side, with much of the mid-west reaching the lower 80s, with other locations seeing as low as 45 possible, mainly in Wyoming.
Severe weather threat continues today, mainly from Indiana to New Jersey, along with other states like Arizona, South Dakota, and into portions of Colorado. Today, August 10th, we’re watching a low-end tornado threat into portions of Ohio, and from Maryland to New Jersey, along with winds of 55-70 MPH and small hail, with some locations even seeing up to quarter size into South Dakota.
Then, tomorrow, August 11th, we’re watching a slight risk for severe weather from Virginia into Illinois, while a marginal risk remains from North Carolina to South Dakota. Same concerns remains tomorrow, with an isolated tornado threat, damaging winds, and small hail.
And again, another marginal risk for severe weather remains from North Carolina to Nebraska Wednesday.
