Trump’s remarkable return to the White House was a miraculous turnaround for the Country. Throughout his ‘24 campaign he has made several ambitious promises, pledging to restore America and bringing us to the “Golden Age”, and putting America First.
During his first term he delivered on his promises. However, his second term has proven challenging, which raises concerns of if he can deliver this time around.
Promises like: ending the Russo-Ukraine War within 24 hours. It has been over 4 years since anything has happened. As of now the Trump Administration has reached a deal with Russia to allow Russian diesel to be sold in the market which he said:
It was agreed that Russia will immediately supply over 300,000 Tons of Diesel Fuel to the American and Global Marketplace, another 500,000 Tons during the month of November, and 1,000,000 Tons immediately thereafter….
This is a short fix which will possibly bring down fuel prices. However, this will keep the Russian War machine going for awhile. This was a political gamble which created an expectation that was difficult to meet from the beginning.
The other promise for this midterm is to give every adult in the US $5000 if the Republicans win the midterms.
If Republicans win the House of Representatives and the Senate in the 2026 Midterm Elections, I’m going to give all Adult Citizens in the United States of America $5,000…
I do not want to be that guy but there has been other promises for DOGE and Tariffs dividends which never panned out. I would like to believe this will be true but actions speak louder than words.
This midterm will be a doozy but affordability is on everyone's mind lately. This second term for Trump is surely going to be difficult, granted Sleepy Joe left us with this mess. I pray that this administration brings us back to pre-COVID normality.
